NOW OFFERING GENEALOGY AND HISTORY RESEARCH
Nancy Kendrick, the administrator and web master of this site, is now offering genealogy and history research. The hourly research fee is $35.00 with a minimum of two hours of research required. Payment for the minimum requirement must be received in advance by money order only. No checks or credit cards will be accepted. In addition to the hourly fee, you will be charged for any out-of-pocket expenses incurred on your behalf for research requests, i.e. gas costs for travel to local research facilities, copy fees, etc. A simple "Research Request Agreement" will need to be executed, which protects your interests, as well as my own. Once the agreement is executed, research will begin. For further details, please email me at adamsny@adamsny.net.
TRANSCRIPTIONS FROM NORTH ADAMS CHURCH RECORDS:The records below are available to the Adams, NY History and Genealogy site through the generous donation of Mr. Norm McGrattan. In October of 2000, Mr. McGrattan notified site administrator Nancy Kendrick reference being in possession of records for the North Adams Church / Adams Congregational Church. Mr. McGrattan has generously granted permission for transcription of the five diary size books to the Adams, NY History and Genealogy site. Upon completion of transcribing, the books will be donated to the town of Adams in Mr. McGrattan's name. THANK YOU, Mr. McGrattan for your kindness and thoughtfulness. Your selflessness is what this site is all about; preserving historical and genealogical information for future generations.
